Objectives:

• Introduce the vocabulary, terminology and principals associated with internetworking in a multi-technology environment today.
• Explain in detail how each technology works, and emphasise the differences between them.
• Develop an understanding of where and when each technology may be used.
• Provide you with the facts that differentiate between Bridges, Switches and Routers.
• Allow you to understand how and when they should be deployed.
• Illustrate ways of managing and controlling these internetworks.
