Objectives:

Learn to use Wireless Markup Language (WML), Extensible Markup Language (XML), Handheld Device Markup Language (HDML), and Extensible Hypertext Markup Language (XHTML).
Construct applications that extend the corporate enterprise to Personal Digital Assistants (PDA), cellphones, handheld terminals, and other mobile computing devices.
Design, construct, test, debug and deploy applications for mobile computing devices.

Network professionals, including network designers, system engineers, administrators, application developers, and individuals needing instant skills for projects using wireless networking solutions

Prerequisites:
Students should attend Implementing Wireless Networks (ETS247) or have equivalent knowledge of wireless networking. You should also have basic application development skills and some experience with languages such as Java, C++, Perl, or REXX. Experience administering, installing, and setting up network software is recommended.
